William P. Bray
William Bray is the founding member of The Bray Law Firm, PLLC. His primary areas of practice are motorsports, music, business litigation and general corporate representation. William has extensive experience in representing race teams and drivers in NASCAR, has acted as lead counsel in more than sixty jury trials throughout North Carolina and South Carolina, and serves as primary outside counsel for dozens of corporations in a variety of industries. William is also an Adjunct Professor of Sports Law for the UNCC Belk College of Business Sports MBA Program, where he also acts as a faculty advisor to the program's students.
In 2006, William was elected as Chairman of the Sports & Entertainment Law Section of the North Carolina Bar Association, and served as the program coordinator for that organization’s successful continuing legal education program on motorsports, entitled Law in the Fast Lane. He is a frequent speaker and author on issues concerning the management and organization of small businesses, and has been featured in publications such as the Charlotte Observer and Street and Smith’s Sports Business Journal. In 2009, William's efforts were featured in North Carolina Lawyer's Weekly. William's clients in the area of motorsports now include some of the top young teams and drivers in the sport, including Joey Logano, Kelly Bires, Trevor Bayne and Braun Racing.
Upon graduating from law school, William served as an assistant solicitor for the 16th Judicial Circuit of South Carolina (York and Union Counties), where he prosecuted drug-related offenses and violent crimes. He later served as a partner in the law firm of Bray & Chiarenza in Rock Hill, South Carolina, before leaving the practice of law in 1999 to serve as president of The Links Golf Group, which specialized in corporate entertainment at major sporting events and executive golf retreats to Scotland and Ireland. After returning to a full-time practice in 2002, William opened The Bray Law Firm in April of 2003.
William is a native of Florence, South Carolina. He received his B.A. from Davidson College in 1989, and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina in 1993, where he served on the honor council for three years and was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award in Constitutional Law. Jeff Long
Jeff Long is a partner in The Bray Law Firm. Jeff's primary areas of practice include various commercial litigation matters, including: breach of contract, violations of unfair trade practice statutes, trade secret enforcement, antitrust issues, debtor defense, creditor's rights, landlord/tenant disputes and various forms of equitable relief. Additionally, Jeff does a significant amount of construction litigation and lien enforcement work for owners, developers, general contractors and subcontractors throughout North Carolina and South Carolina. Jeff's extensive litigation background includes litigating cases in State Courts throughout North Carolina and South Carolina, hearings before panels of the American Arbitration Association and arbitration through FINRA (formerly the National Association of Securities Dealers). Jeff is licensed to practice in all the State Courts of North Carolina and South Carolina, the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina and the United States District Court for the Western District of North Carolina.
Jeff grew up in Charlotte and graduated from East Mecklenburg High School. In 1993, Jeff obtained his undergraduate degrees in Business Management and Communication from North Carolina State University. Following his graduation from North Carolina State University, Jeff worked as an analyst for Dunn & Bradstreet and, later, served as an officer for a regional financial services company. In 1999, Jeff began law school at the University of South Carolina. While in law school, Jeff served as a member of the School's Pro Bono Program Board of Directors and a law clerk for the Fifth Circuit's Solicitor Office in Columbia. Jeff graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2002.
In 2007, Jeff was selected to participate in the Mecklenburg County Bar's Bar Leadership Institute. In 2009, Jeff was honored as a "Rising Star" in Business Litigation in the North Carolina Super Lawyers publication.
Jeff and his wife, Meredith, attend Myers Park Presbyterian Church along with their two young children.

Lindsay Middlesworth
Lindsay Middlesworth is an associate attorney with The Bray Law Firm, on whose behalf she handles litigation matters, with an emphasis on construction and business disputes. Lindsay received her B.A. from North Carolina State University and her J.D. from North Carolina Central University.
Prior to joining The Bray Law Firm, Lindsay ran her own law firm in Raleigh, where she handled trial matters in both the civil and criminal courts. In addition to her experience as an attorney, Lindsay is a licensed general contractor.

Matthew C. O. Cameron
Matt Cameron is an associate attorney with The Bray Law Firm. His practice includes work in most of the firm's areas, including business transactions, litigation, intellectual property and entertainment.
